In connection with the retrieval of information your requested data is stored on our servers anonymously for the provision of services and for evaluation purposes. General information is logged e.g. which content is retrieved when from our website or which pages are visited most frequently. For this purpose we use “cookies” (little text files with configuration information). These cookies are used especially to determine frequency of use and the number of users of our website. That’s how we find out which areas of our website and which other websites our users have visited. However, this usage data doesn’t allow any conclusions to be made as to the identity of the user. In order to prevent the loss or misuse of our data, we take extensive technical and operational security measures which are regularly reviewed and updated to meet technological progress.  However, please be aware that due to the nature of the internet it is possible that data protection laws and the above security measures are not observed by people or companies outside of our area of accountability. In particular, unencrypted exposed data – also in emails – can be read by third parties. We have no technical influence over this. It is the user’s responsibility to protect data made available to them against misuse through encryption or otherwise.
