Heat supply as an opportunity for the chemical industry

A changing heat supply: the Heat Planning Act requires cities and municipalities to install climate-friendly heating networks. This should not only reduce CO2 emissions from heating, but also make it more economical.

Florian Thost, Managing Director of THOST, and Johannes Herth, Head of Branch in Stuttgart and member of the Management Board, are convinced that cooperation between industry and local authorities plays a decisive role in this – because energy sources outside the large waste incineration plants and power stations are increasingly in demand for the expansion of district heating networks and decentralized local heating concepts.
