Project Controlling: Electrifying bus fleets

The electrification of municipal bus fleets is a central component of the transport transition – and at the same time one of the biggest current tasks in local public transport. Its implementation poses considerable challenges for cities and transport companies: numerous interfaces, complex funding conditions and high investment costs must be reconciled.

In the current issue of the trade journal ew – Magazin für die Energiewirtschaft, Bianca Triebel, Team Leader Charging Infrastructure at THOST Projektmanagement, describes how integrated project controlling helps to dovetail technical, organizational and financial aspects at an early stage and to think about projects as a whole.
