The Liebig Campus in Bonn continues to take shape: Following the topping-out ceremony for the third construction phase and the successful completion of the tenant planning, which THOST worked on together with DLR Projektträger and Project Development company Ten Brinke, the next big step has been taken. A modern, energy-efficient campus is expected to be built on the previously sealed site by mid-2027.

Future tenants and users of the Liebig Campus will include the DLR Project Management Agency. THOST is responsible for Integrated Requirement Planning and Project Controlling. The project team, consisting of Sven Baade, Lea Spanke, Roland Rieth, Sarah Federkeil and Maria Rebrova, developed the work form concept and occupancy planning as part of the requirements planning. Once the tenant planning had been completed, the implementation planning was reviewed and THOST handed over the results to the client in August 2025.

A particular focus was on designing future-proof working environments that meet the needs of future users. To this end, THOST worked closely with the Fraunhofer IAO, which contributed its expertise in ergonomic design.

The new campus will have a gross floor area of around 43,000 square meters. There will also be green roof areas, a canteen, spacious outdoor areas and a conference center for up to 500 participants. The aim is to achieve DGNB Gold certification and the KfW 40 energy standard – a clear contribution to sustainable, resource-conserving campus development.

THOST is looking forward to further cooperation with all project participants and to the successful completion of this forward-looking project.
