Modular construction: A new approach for schools

Quiet construction sites, efficient use of materials, little waste, short construction time: modular construction offers many advantages over the “brick on brick” variant. These advantages were utilized in the new construction of the Heisenberg-Gymnasium in Dortmund. THOST supported this project over the entire three-year period. In his guest article in Bauen aktuell magazine, our colleague Felix Achternbosch discusses the construction method used and explains the opportunities it opens up for the school system.
