New construction of the St. Agatha daycare center in
Horben completed

The municipality of Horben in the Upper Black Forest is delighted with the completion of the new St. Agatha daycare center, which provides modern and up-to-date childcare in the village.
As part of the new social village center, the new daycare center offers the community with just under 1,000 inhabitants new space for around 50 children aged between 1 and 6 years.
THOST was responsible for Project Controlling of the project and ensured that the costs remained within budget. Project Management Michael Karsch presented the final invoice, which amounted to 2.0% additional costs compared to the plan – an exceptionally low figure. The largest cost groups were the building construction, the planning services and the technical building equipment.
Following the successful completion of the daycare center, it is now the turn of the elementary school: this will be renovated and extended by mid-2027. The demolition work and earthworks for the school extension have been completed and the structural work has begun.
