Online Practical Seminar –
Framework Conditions in Construction Projects

Home 5 News 5 Online Practical Seminar – Framework Conditions in Construction Projects

Understanding construction projects involves more than just reading blueprints. Anyone who wants to navigate this field with confidence needs a solid understanding of the legal and organizational framework—from the German Building Code (BauGB) and state building codes to the HOAI, the German Civil Code (BGB), and the VOB.

Our half-day online practical seminar will help you gain a clear understanding of the subject. It covers the essential fundamentals needed to systematically document and reliably categorize construction projects. The seminar focuses on key project processes and the most important legal principles.

  • What are the roles, rights, and responsibilities involved in a construction project?
  • Properly Understanding the Projects’ Classification Under the BauGB and LBO
  • How do acceptance processes work in practice?
  • A solid, comprehensive understanding of construction projects forms the foundation for confident decision-making in day-to-day project work.

The seminar will be led by our expert Dr.-Ing. Thomas Bahnert, Head of the Center of Competence for Contract Management at THOST, a publicly appointed and sworn expert consultant, and an architect with many years of experience in planning, construction supervision, and Project Management.
Participants are also welcome to bring questions related to their current projects to the seminar. This makes it particularly well-suited for those starting their careers in architecture and construction, aspiring Project Management professionals, or building owners’ representatives.
