Online Practical Seminar – HOAI 2021

The HOAI is a constant presence in the day-to-day work of many projects, but it’s rarely truly “easy to grasp.” Miscalculating fees, overlooking pitfalls, failing to classify contracts properly—these things happen faster than you might think. Our full-day online practical seminar shows you how to do it right! It covers the fundamentals of the HOAI 2021 and provides practical guidance on how to calculate fees reliably and classify them legally—including typical pitfalls encountered in real-world practice. The seminar also focuses on the interplay and distinctions between the pricing provisions of the HOAI and the service provisions of the BGB (law governing contracts for work and services). The seminar is led by our expert Dr.-Ing. Thomas Bahnert, Head of the Center of Competence for Contract Management at THOST. As a publicly appointed and sworn fee expert and a member of the “Risk & Compensation” specialist group at the Center of Competence for Integrated Project Management, he combines theory with practical exercises.
