Living with ALDI SOUTH:
199 beds for students

It’s done! The student residence at the ALDI SOUTH store in Landau (Annweilerstraße 17) has been officially opened. The 199 beds will help to combat the housing shortage.

Our colleagues Karolin Gehrke, Lucas Pfeiffer, Anna Debelt and Linda Thiess did not miss out on the celebrations. This marked the end of an intensive period of project work: THOST was responsible for Project Controlling and General Contractor Controlling. The successful implementation sets an example for urban densification. Innovative concepts make it possible to create urgently needed living space even in densely populated urban areas – with the advantage of using less land.

The Aldi store on the first floor has been open since the end of July, while first occupancy of the 186 apartments is scheduled for the winter semester 2025/2026.
We wish all the students moving in a great time in their new premises!
