THOST and Fichtner win ProTON framework agreement from TenneT Germany

The consortium (ARGE) consisting of THOST Projektmanagement GmbH and Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG has prevailed in the award procedure for the ProTON framework agreement of TenneT Germany and was awarded the contract for LOS 1.
With ProTON, TenneT Germany is bundling the expansion of the onshore transmission grid (AC) in Germany over a period of eight years. The program includes projects of various sizes, ranging from overhead lines and underground cabling to the new construction and expansion of substations. The aim is to accelerate the integration of renewable energies and strengthen security of supply in the long term.
As part of LOS 1, ARGE THOST/Fichtner is providing Services in the West, Central and South regions, covering an area from Bavaria to the North Sea. The framework agreement is divided into two lots: LOS 1 covers these regions, while LOS 2 covers the North and East regions.
The consortium’s scope of services includes Project Controlling, Scheduling, Quality Management and Early Risk Detection. The aim of the collaboration is to structure project management uniformly across various programs and to bundle both project management and technical expertise.
THOST and Fichtner each bring many years of experience in managing large infrastructure projects and together cover services ranging from Project Controlling and Scheduling to comprehensive consulting, planning and approval management through to construction supervision. Joint quality standards, transparent coordination processes and certified management systems (including ISO 9001) form the basis for consistent and quality-assured project implementation.
