A strong alliance for the region: THOST and the city of Pforzheim expand their cooperation

The close relationship and how the city and THOST can best support each other was once again underlined by the joint meeting at our headquarters in Pforzheim. Our Managing Directors Michael Müller, Florian Thost, Oliver Thost and Head of Branch Jens-Daniel Herrmann as well as company founder Burkhard Thost met with Lord Mayor Peter Boch, the Rector of Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences – Design, Technology, Economics and Law Prof. Dr. Jautz, the Head of Business Development Markus Epple and member of the City Council Andreas Sarow. Key aspects of the exchange included future technologies, necessary transformations and challenges as well as solutions for energy-efficient building refurbishment, decarbonization in industry and the shortage of skilled workers.

As a long-standing partner, we have been able to support the city of Pforzheim in more than 10 projects to date, providing a wide range of services in the field of project management. Thanks to our strong connection to the city, we are familiar with many customers and are proud to contribute to the development and future of the region.

The focus is also on the next generation: As an attractive and reliable employer in the region, THOST is continuing its cooperation with universities: Students at Pforzheim University can gain their first practical experience during their studies or start a career in diverse and sought-after professional fields.
