THOST is providing strategic support for a major semiconductor project in Dresden

Since September 2024, THOST has been supporting EQUANS Gebäudetechnik GmbH on one of Europe’s most significant industrial projects: the construction of a new, self-sufficient 300-mm chip factory in Dresden. The project strengthens semiconductor capacity in Europe and contributes to supply security and competitiveness, particularly for applications in automotive, security, and industrial electronics. As the contractor responsible for this scope of work, EQUANS is in charge of the facility’s supply air system—a highly complex area of operation.

Changing conditions, last-minute adjustments to the workflow, and complex coordination efforts require robust Schedule Control, clear contractual frameworks, and consistent documentation. In such project scenarios in particular, structured processes and a collaborative approach are crucial for ensuring transparency and addressing risks early on.

THOST’s services include, among other things, project scheduling and Schedule Control, status and resource monitoring, the preparation of schedule reports, and construction site documentation. In Contract & Claims Management, we also provide support in identifying contractual risks, preparing claims, issuing notices of hindrance, and resolving contractual issues.

Installation work is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
