Education Ambassadors Honored

Five apprentices from THOST Projektmanagement were honored for their exceptional dedication as apprenticeship ambassadors. The North Black Forest Chamber of Industry and Commerce invited all 113 apprenticeship ambassadors from the region to the official ceremony.

Through their visits to schools and events, the young ambassadors make an important contribution to career guidance. They provide students with authentic insights into their daily training routines, share firsthand accounts of their professions, and thus help students navigate their career choices. At the same time, they raise awareness of and enhance the appeal of dual vocational training.

So far this school year, the initiative has already reached more than 2,700 young people. Additional events are planned through the end of the school year. This underscores the great importance of such programs—especially with a view to securing a skilled workforce.

THOST would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to its own training ambassadors—Silvio Cosma, Carmen Lim, Lea Erbacher, Niklas Richter, and Julia Kowal—for their dedicated efforts.

The “Apprenticeship Ambassadors” initiative is funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor, and Tourism and has been implemented statewide since 2011. Since its launch, more than 30,000 apprenticeship ambassadors have participated.

The fact that there is such high demand for authentic insights into apprenticeship programs sends a strong signal. It is therefore all the more gratifying that THOST apprentices are also contributing with great dedication. At its headquarters in Pforzheim, THOST trains office management assistants and IT specialists in system integration. Apprenticeship positions are still available for 2027.
