ZEISS is planning a special combination of science and business at its founding location in Jena. State-of-the-art buildings for more than 2,000 employees in the areas of medical technology and semiconductor manufacturing technology (SMT), among others, are being built on an eight-hectare site. Due to the systems developed and manufactured there, the high-tech site will be a beacon for the high-tech and science city of Jena.

We have been commissioned to provide project management services in accordance with architectural guidelines for this major project and are coordinating over 150 planning offices and companies involved. The particular challenge is the integration of administration, research and production in a sustainable building complex that also meets the demanding requirements of high-precision devices.

Efficient construction project management is essential in order to keep deadlines, costs and quality under control in this complex environment. Project quality management and project budgeting play a central role in this.
