100-MW Electrolysis Plant for Green Hydrogen

An international energy company is building a 100-MW electrolysis plant in Germany for the industrial production of green hydrogen. The plant is being constructed in close proximity to existing refinery facilities and will be directly connected to a core hydrogen network. The goal is to produce up to 11,000 metric tons of green hydrogen per year, powered by electricity from offshore wind energy. The plant is scheduled to start operating in 2027.
