The rail infrastructure of the Ruhr-Sieg line between Hagen, Siegen and Hanau is being expanded as part of a large-scale infrastructure project by DB InfraGO AG. The aim of the project is to create an efficient alternative route for international freight and passenger traffic – in particular for rail traffic from Belgium, the Netherlands and North Rhine-Westphalia towards Bavaria, the Czech Republic and Austria. The expansion of the railway line primarily comprises the extension of the tunnel profile for combined transport as well as other measures such as overtaking tracks or adjustments to the signaling technology in order to make the line more robust.
THOST Projektmanagement provides project management services in the section between Hagen and Siegen in service levels 1 and 2 according to the DB service profile (based on German engineering standards booklet no. 9) for all areas of activity. We consistently carry out the planning processes using the BIM method. Agile working methods based on the Scrum principles are used for flexible and transparent project management.
