Siltronic AG carried out several projects at its Freiberg site to modernize some production areas.
A central project was the modernization of systems in the crystal pulling hall, in which THOST was responsible for contract and claims management. The focus was on providing support with the contractual assessment of supplements, postponements and changes to services.
Another project involved modernization investments in the wafer line. For the infrastructural part of this project, THOST was responsible for schedule controlling on behalf of the client vis-à-vis the EPC contractor and ensured schedule transparency and adherence to milestones.
THOST was also responsible for the overall scheduling of the plant modernization as well as the interface management between construction, equipment, media and production to ensure smooth commissioning.
