THOST is supporting Arlanxeo Deutschland GmbH in the construction of a new plant for the production of synthetic rubber in Saudi Arabia (Commodore project). The plant comprises two production lines: high-performance elastomers such as neodymium polybutadiene rubber (NdBR), which is primarily used in tire production, and lithium butadiene rubber (LiBR), which is used to modify plastics in order to increase their impact resistance. These modified plastics are used in the food packaging and household appliance industries, among others.
THOST takes over the PMO for the project in central task areas such as project organization, Document Management, reporting, Risk Management and interface management. We are also responsible for procurement in the area of tender management, including tender evaluation.
