THOST supervised the construction of a new six-storey university building for the economics, social sciences and law courses. The spatial program included areas for administration as well as areas for research and teaching such as central specialist libraries, seminar rooms and lecture halls. To ensure a successful application as a University of Excellence, the specialist libraries were then connected centrally. The project was realized by awarding the contract to a general contractor. The building has a gross floor area (GFA) of approx. 39,170 m², a gross cubic capacity of approx. 175,900 m³ and a usable floor area (UFA) of approx. 22,100 m².
THOST was responsible for Project Controlling in all five German engineering standards project stages in the action areas A to E, from project preparation, planning and awarding through to execution and project support.
