A company in Baden-Württemberg has developed a hydrogen technology process to produce green hydrogen from municipal biomass and biogenic waste in a CO2-neutral way. The hydrogen is produced and marketed regionally in cooperation with local authorities, and a negative CO2 balance is to be achieved by storing carbon underground (CCS – Carbon Capture Storage). A test plant developed in Heinsberg in 2000 has been under construction in Speyer since mid-2024. The pilot plant will follow shortly.
We were commissioned to advise and support the preparation of the funding applications for this sustainable project.
