With an investment of around 2.3 billion euros, the US pharmaceutical group Eli Lilly is building one of the most modern production facilities in Europe in Alzey (Rhineland-Palatinate). This major project sets new standards for Germany as a biotechnology and pharmaceutical hub and makes a decisive contribution to the supply of innovative medicines. The highly automated plant is due to go into operation by the end of 2027 and will create around 1,000 new jobs – an important boost for the economy, research and sustainable development in the region.
Our THOST team supports Eli Lilly with a customized Project Management Office (PMO) that combines the key areas of Project Management, Project Controlling, Cost Controlling and Document Management. Through structured processes, forward-looking control and professional interface management, we ensure that schedules are adhered to and resources are used optimally.
