Site development for a modern working environment at Kardex

The Kardex Group is constructing a new administrative centre in Bellheim (Rhineland-Palatinate) with around 6,000 m² of office space for approximately 260 employees. The new five-storey building creates a modern working environment and forms a central component of the site development.

THOST Project Management is responsible for Project Controlling and is accompanying the project together with the general contractor Heberger Group. The focus is on ensuring deadlines, quality and costs as well as representing the client’s interests vis-à-vis all parties involved in the project.

At the beginning of the project, the focus was on defining the planning basis, supporting construction law issues and the structured preparation and successful negotiation of the general contractor agreement. The scope of Project Controlling services was successively expanded in accordance with German engineering standards.

In addition to the construction of the new administrative centre, we were commissioned with other sub-projects, such as redesigning the apprentice workshop and academy, the restructuring and optimization of the e-infrastructure on the entire company premises, as well as changes in Production, which THOST is also supporting as project manager.
