General terms and conditions (AGB)
These general terms and conditions apply for all events and seminars (hereafter “seminar events”) from THOST Projektmanagement GmbH (hereafter “THOST”). They apply equally to individual participants and companies unless otherwise stated.
2. Registration and conclusion of contract
Registration at a seminar event takes place online at www.thost.de/en/news/experts-at-thost by completing and sending the online form or in writing, by fax or by email by using the form from the seminar brochure, and should be sent to:
THOST Projektmanagement GmbH,

Telefax: +49 7231 1560-90
When registering, the participant accepts these general terms and conditions as part of the contract.
The contract for seminar participation is agreed upon receipt of the confirmation of registration which takes place by email. In the situation of overbooking the applicant will be informed immediately. In this case, the contract for the participation in the seminar is not applicable.
Upon receipt of the invoice the seminar price including VAT becomes due for payment of the full amount on one of the accounts as stated on the invoice.
3. Scope of services
The nature and extent of the seminar services can be found in the description of the respective seminar event in the seminar brochure and / or the seminar description on the website www.thost.de/en/news/experts-at-thost. The company reserves the right to make minor adjustments to content.
4. Participant withdrawal, substitute participants
The participant can withdraw from the contract at any time before the start of the event. Withdrawal free of charge can take place up to four weeks before the start of the event; any seminar fees already paid will be refunded. In the event of later withdrawal, the full price of the seminar will be charged; this also applies to no-shows or cancellation of participation. A written withdrawal is to be sent to the address given in section 2. The withdrawal must be received by THOST within the stated notice period.
The transfer of registration to a replacement participant is possible at any time. THOST must be informed of this.
5. The cancellation of events by THOST
THOST reserves the right to cancel an event due to an act of God or for administrative reasons. THOST will inform the participant immediately. In such cases, seminar fees already paid will be refunded in full. Further claims of the participant especially for compensation regarding already booked transportation or accommodation only exist in accordance with provisions referred to in section 6.
THOST accepts responsibility for damages within the framework of the statutory provisions only in accordance with the following regulations.
THOST accepts liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health as well as for the damage caused by intent or gross negligence of the organiser or its agents.
THOST accepts liability subject to limitations for compensation for foreseeable, typically occurring damages such as damages arising from slight negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation through them or their agents. Essential contractual obligations are obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper execution of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment the contractual partner may normally rely.
All other claims by the participant for compensation are excluded. The provisions of the Product Liability Act remain unaffected.
THOST assumes no liability for the content of seminar presentations or accompanying materials.
The limitations of the above regulations also apply in favour of the legal representatives of agents of THOST if claims are made directly against them.
7. Data protection

The accompanying material for events is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or distributed without the consent of THOST.
9. Settlement of disputes
The European commission has made a platform for online settlement of dispute (OS) available which can be found on the Internet at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are under no obligation to take part in a dispute settlement procedure before a consumer arbitration board and we will not take part.
